Monkeys Enjoy Giving To Others, Study Finds

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'S')cienceDaily (Aug. 25, 2008) — Researchers at the Yerkes National Primate Research Center, Emory University, have shown capuchin monkeys, just like humans, find giving to be a satisfying experience. This finding comes on the coattails of a recent imaging study in humans that documented activity in reward centers of the brain after humans gave to charity.

Whats your point?

Yes - I think those reports focused on homo sapien sapien...this study speaks to the capuchin monkey...a bit more relaxed about life.

Drunk monkeys eat human babies

I remember one day when I was driving around south Florida. Way out in the deep bush in the middle of the state. The trail we were driving down ended at a large razor spiral chain fence. The only sign said

Do not enter. Chimpanzees will attack humans.

99% DNA match with humans. Although this guy presents an interesting argument that humans are not descended from primates

Who knew that a monkey could single-handedly take down the Cult of Rand?

What do monkeys have to do with the environment...no kidding, this seems pretty irrelevant.

Massive Human Dieoff must occur as a result of Peak Oil. Many more than half will die. It will occur everywhere, including where you live. If you fail to recognize this, then your odds of living move toward the "going to die" group.
