I found this article regarding the salmonella scare by the FDA to be an interesting twist of opinion as opposed to mainstream news.

Unfortunately, I know nothing about salmonella. But what this guy writes 'makes sense to me'.

A quick fact sheet on salmonella by the USDA.

It certainly isn't caused by tomato's or peppers, that's for sure.

Seems like if you wash your hands, cutting boards and vegetables, you should be alright.

The news in my area made it seem as if the salmonella was actually "inside" the tomatoes. I think I saw a picture of an x-rayed tomato with black spots inside.

They were probably seeds or something... :lol:
