Ninetieth sign of the apocalypse

Unread postby Cerberus » Tue 08 Jul 2008, 13:06:53

This is for the doomers, and I guess the conservatist that frequent here. Today after making a Wal-Mart run to stock-up on canned meat and cartridges for my 38, there it was the ninetieth sign of the apocalypse. To my amazement the local sheriff office had traded there hemi power urban assault vehicles for Priuses. The Prius was painted just like a cop car, with lights, a pusher bar; cage in the back basically the whole nine yards. I guess to catch the local thrugery with their high powered SUV’s; it will be an endurance race not a high speed chase. I’m in a large university town in the Midwest.

Enoch it was a joke, do you think I really believe a move to a more cost effective solution is a sign of the apocalypse? A small note for your future reference; anybody using the word apocalypse is one of two things a nutjob or a science fiction writer.
