To me this person is a complete mystery. Why is he doing everything in his power to get Iran invaded? Why is he still in power? Has the CIA promised him a wealthy retirement in return for some "favors"?

The whole thing is so absurd. His country is about to be invaded and hes doing everything he can to remove all doubt that thats a bad idea.

So... what the hell is going on here? 8O

Show me the proof he wants to be invaded.

More proof on the table the US wants to invade.

Im not saying he wants iran to be invaded but he sure is doing alot to make that happen. The only reason the public opinion is against Iran is because he keeps talking about destroying Israel.

As for the US wanting to invade Iran: Maybe, maybe not. Looks like it at the moment though.

I would need to verify your security clearance before you can access that level of information.

Oh, and there is no way to 'prove' anything here, the arrangements of electrons on your screen are not proof that you or I exist, much else whats inside someones mind and where their intentions may be run. What proof is their, pfff.

I don't think Iran is going to be invaded. The US just doesn't have enough troops for that, with the Iraq occupation still going on. A bombing campaign is possible, but its effect on the world economy would be disastrous, and Bush knows it. And there's no reason for Israel to attack Iran unless they have reliable information of a nuclear threat.

In other words, why doesn't he do what Muammar al-Gaddafi did - remember him? He was an enemy of the US and was linked to terrorist attacks in past decades.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'F')ollowing the overthrow of Saddam Hussein by US forces in 2003, Gaddafi announced that his nation had an active weapons of mass destruction program, but was willing to allow international inspectors into his country to observe and dismantle them.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'O')n May 15, 2006, the US State Department announced that it would restore full diplomatic relations with Libya, once Gaddafi declared he was abandoning Libya's weapons of mass destruction program. The State Department also said that Libya would be removed from the list of nations supporting terrorism. On August 31, 2006, however, Gaddafi openly called upon his supporters to "kill enemies" who asked for political change.

I remember the "Kill Gaddafi" tee shirts and whatnot years ago during the US air attack on Libya, which appeared to be an assassination attempt on Gaddafi. After that, Gaddafi became more open to normalizing relations with the west. I personally believe that Bush used this as justification for his policies in the Middle East.
