Having read Pheba's post on the anti-Kunstler thread, I thought it would be helpful to itemize some famous a**-hole, from the more cultivated sphere of art, literature, social commentary. In the world of celebrity and political commentary, being a jerk is part of the job description, so it's not particularly interesting. The world of the super snide, urbane, witty assho** is rarely critiqued in this way, though.

Yergin and asshole--over 450 on Google. Pretty good, considering he's relatively obscure, in the realm of people who use the term "asshole" frequently. The Commanding Heights, should be required viewing for anyone wanting to understand the hermetically sealed epistemological environment of the "filthy" rich. Yeah...what an ass****!
