Again PA - you are wrong.

Actually - no hat and 50 chickens arrive in a week.

That is not even remotely redneck. That thing is upscale. Any bone-a-fide redneck would have made it out of either busted up pallets or parts from a junk car. The truck towing it would also need to be at least 15 years older.

If you stole the metal fencing from the elementary school playground, that might qualify as redneck.

I'm with SPG roc, that looks like something Martha Stewart would deploy, nice job.

However it could be redneck in use depending on the origin of those 50 chickens and your eventual use of camouflage ...

I was keying more on the transport part. I included the other pictures for context as it needed to be tipped on its side and does not look like a chicken coop on the trailer.

It is made very well...steel pipe, welded joints and welded wire...steel tin roof....$80 - I made the nests from scratch pieces of wood and closet doors.

Seriously though, if you are getting chicks - even down there, you need to keep them warm, draft free and corralled some better; the little buggers can get through a tiny hole.

Yes - the broad is an all together different (smaller) project...it is done.

I just wanted to get this out of the way while I don't have to worry about nailing boards and splitting heads at 100 yards at the same time.

Actually, it needs to be towed by a passenger car to even be remotely considered redneck.
camoflage and chickens....reminds me of somebody I knew back in college. The guy painted some chickens, put them on a leash and walked them around the campus, while dressed as a caveman.

Stop filling dumpsters, as much as you possibly can, and everything will get better.

Just think it through.
It's not hard to do.

Better yet tied to the trunk.

As a former resident of Louisiana and Mississippi, I am a qualified expert on all things redneck. Even my close relatives who live in the boondocks of Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas (who are all black) are about as redneck as you can get, relatively speaking. So to burst your bubble roccoman. Sorry dude. I see no duct tape in any of those pictures holding those chicken coops together. That automatically disqualifies your chicken contraption as redneck. Also you need some PBR or Schlitz cans in the photos to spruce them up.

P.S. - Try using a 1980s Mustang or Camaro to tow the things and go get a mullet while you are at it.

Better even would be a torch-converted Camaro pick up!

Wait till they've been shitting in there a few months, eh?

We built our coop twenty years ago out of two-bys, old window sash, and shingles. It's a veritable palace.

I wish I could express to you all how VILE (or should I say FOUL) that chicken house is now.

Jesus. H. Christ. Three months of heavy snow, and they've been cooped up in there all this time.

Collecting eggs is a breath-taking experience.

Yea, we have a good size moveable coop that has been frozen to the ground a while and now that there is a little thaw I can't keep enough straw in the nest boxes (or anywhere else) to keep the girls happy.
