Hello,

I rarely post on the site anymore but this forum has had a profound effect on my life.

I enjoy speaking with people of like mind, or those with different viewpoints.

Teamspeak is a wonderful tool in that regard. It is more dynamic than the forums imo. You can hear and respond to the opinions and viewpoints of various members on it.

Unfortunately new members do not seem to be drawn to it. The download for teamspeak is free and easy to get (http://www.goteamspeak.com/?page=downloads).

So, I would just like to draw attention to this wonderful feature of peakoil.com. And, I would like to TALK to a larger variety of people who are interested in this topic. You will meet optimists and doomers alike. Technicians and amateurs.

I think it allows Aaron to gain full access to your pc and allows him to install a virus that will cause your freezer to overheat and cook all of your leftovers.

We used to have regular meetings on PS.

Maybe it would help if we had a regular PS meeting. Every Thursday at 2200 Pacific time or whatever for an hour.

Anyone interested in scheduling meetings

I bet once a month would be sufficient.

I like TS too, but just don't want to mess with the mic on linux anymore. The IRC chat link on this site will link back to an EFNet server, usually chat going on there. I do get a kick out of listening to global accents though.
