Its probibly been posted before but this is a 45 minutes sketch on oil by Rob Newman, once the biggest star in UK comedy now a very far out political comedian.

Id kinda guess nothing here is news to anyone here, but by god this is probibly the most intelligent comedy Ive ever seen, better than Mark Thomas or Bill Hicks.

Me too, I have burned a few CD's of this and given them to relatives and co-workers.

I think the most original argument he makes regards the influence of oil in the 1st World War. It even amazed me as a school kid, learning history, just what was so special about Archduke Ferdinand, that so many countries were willing to blow their brains out over his death.
