Mother Jones Article About Mitt Romney and John McCain

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '
')Also interesting is the fact that McCain doesn't seem to care that he can't control the environment at his outdoor events. At his rally in front of the State House in Concord, Ron Paul fans turned out in equal numbers of the McCain folks, and held up as many signs. The Iraq Veterans Against the War bus was parked next to the event, and peace protestors were common. At the event in front of the Exeter Town Hall, people stood holding signs saying, "Stop McCain's Amnesty." (When I asked these people who had sent them, they declined to say. When I asked them who they planned to vote for, they all identified Mitt Romney.)

That picture with the Stop McCain's Amnesty folks, I'm the guy with the yellow shirt on the left.

If I had known that he was a reporter for MotherJones, I might have given him my name.

In case you were wondering, yes, we were volunteers from the Mitt Romney campaign.

But no, we were not paid and the idea was entirely my own. It had no official connection with the campaign.

As for McCain's amnesty bill, I'm sure most of the people on this website will agree that it was a terrible plan and is something worth protesting.

[I know that this is a complete ego post]

Pretty cool, Tyler. So when you're Grand Chancellor of the one world government they'll probably put this pic in the "Early political aspirations" section of your Ministry of Truth Wiki entry.

Is it just me or has Tyler put on a few pounds? The freshman fifteen strikes again.

No, I spotted you. Behind the mustachioed guy. Yellow shirt off to "your" right.

It's not very clear, but compared to my memory of your Karaoke Cowboy picture you look a little puffy.
