Some of you might have read some posts here by simontay78. He's a fellow peakoiler, blogger and countryman from Singapore, a small country which imports everything we need. You name it, we import it : crude oil, natural gas, drinking water, nearly all our food - perhaps with the exception of eggs. Yup, eggs. Even so, we had an egg crisis the other time ...

I consider myself a moderate, and he is a few notches above me in the doomerosity scale. So. I suggested starting off a "doomer porn competition" and here is his entry :

Hey! Thanks for the post lowem! Just found out that you had posted it here! I had always wanted to know how others feel about the coming energy crisis.

I think the competition is the first ever held by me to write doomer stories. This might spark off ideas on how to solve the problems in the future!

I saw Jericho series about nuclear attack in United States and how they survive as a town after that without electricity and more...it's doomer porn to me.

It's time to put out the thinking cap and put it down on pen and paper to describe the possible future. Doesn't matter if it's a good ending or not but just make it your story.
