I read on Wiki that prominent Jews did not want that movie to get general distribution. They thought it was inflammatory. Evidently Jews do have some sway over the media. But they couldn't stop Mel Gibson. I don't have any beef with Jews. They are every bit as welcome to this warm earth as I am. But like the protagonist in that film, the idea of God commanding Abraham to slaughter Isaac leaves me with doubt.
