What Do I Say?

I've been dodgy and haven't said what I think we should do. As I've said, it doesn't matter what I think or any of you either for that matter. But OK, here it is. Bring 'em all home from everywhere across the globe. Let the rest of the world take care of itself. Start a massive campaign of local agriculture. Tighten our belts and accept a severe lowering of our "standard of living." Curtail corporations. Disband the CIA and the NSA and "homeland security." Ban all international flights. Accept 1000000 deaths or more. Tell Monsanto and Archer Daniels what's what and what they will do to implement permaculture. Enlist the best minds to achieve some kind of North American sustainability. Tell the spoiled Americans to shut the fuck up and do as they're told. Command Hollywood to put out propaganda. Put Rush Limbaugh out of his misery. Roast Michael Savage on a spit. Harvest the feral pigs of Texas. Teach everyone how to eat scorpions and grasshoppers and earthworms. Do whatever it takes.

ok....

1 mil deaths is only .3% of the American population.... if we just direct resources away from certain heart medications and subsidize cheap vodka we ought to be able to do that without much societal pain.

Just be sure to fund mental health care... I want to keep my job

though i suppose if we defund it we could reach that number even quicker...

Good stuff PMS , except for;
lower standard of living? - I'm planning on living pretty much the way I am now, as far as everyone else ? Those that haven't sown should not expect to reap.

kill Rush and the Wiener ?---- I sincerely hope you don't mean that , where would we stop ? Hannity ? O'reilly ? sure. Tony Snow , OK , Malkin and Coulter ?Yep ,all easy ones . Peggy Noonan ? Lynn Cheney ? Babs Bush ? A death sentence for having what we would classify as an evil mind ?What about my friend Mary who is a conservative christian and supports Bush but doesn't really pay attention , willfully ignorant about politics and current events but she's the sweetest thing I've met in Georgia , I would defend her to the death if someone tried to hurt her . If you cleanse all the parts of society that you disagree with now, how do you know that the alternative that eventually surfaces won't be worse ? What if Rocc , Neopo and Lateralus fill the void?You and I may be safe PMS but what about the less dedicated liberals ? Do we kill the hardcore anarchists PMS? They may decide that any organized society is a threat and come after us if we don't get them first . Death is very final . Not to be dispensed at a whim or passing fancy.

You may have a point with Weiner , he has advocated killing those he dislikes and I've no doubt if he could do it without suffering any consequences ,he would wave his magic wand and kill many. He may be the exception , although I would really want to know how much of what he says is honest and how much is theatrical shtick. No , I couldn't kill him for words , he'd have to attempt physical evil before I'd end him. I would enjoy kicking his teeth in though.

I think that's one of the things that seperate the progressive / liberal from the hard-right conservative . Imagine if Rush , Hannity , Coulter etc. had the power to snap their fingers and kill anyone they wanted with no chance that they would be caught or blamed. I'm convinced they'd develope tendonitis before they got thru 1/100'ths of their lists. On the other hand I have a hard time seeing Franken , Moore , Maher , Stewart etc. snapping their fingers even once .

Not necessary to kill any of them literally. But killed in the sense that they should all be completely banned from ever having access to any form of public media whatsoever.

Nor should they ever be allowed to address any group in excess of three people...
