heck yeah, you can't beat that rich Angus grain cover, eloquently hand stitched and bound with a ribbed spine usually only seen on fine 18th & 19th century volumes. You can spend many pleasant evenings admiring the clean, fresh smelling sheets of 50 dollar bills, mmmmmm. . . and make a glass case on a marble stand with gold trimming, sort of a shrine, to hold the thing of beauty. These would be pure, undefiled bills; no one ever rolled them up to snort coke, no grubby peasants ever pawed them with greedy sweaty fingers or smeared KFC chicken grease on them.

Personally, I can't see the point of buying any of them, except for novelty value. I don't see how they are any kind of investment.
Kind regards, Katkinkate

oh katinkate, no worries!! i kinda expected the resident pms to pick this one up and run with it anyway....so it was a little bit fun to play the bimbo.

the seriously funny part of the whole thing though? someone must be buying these things...otherwise someone is losing some serious money. i originally read about this in the chicago tribune!

You could probably keep yourself warm for an hour or two by burning them after the hyper-inflation kicks in.

not a bad thought really. especially considering we are in a more precarious position than the germans were in the weimar era. most of our money is electronic...there will be no burning and no wheelbarrels full for us....just a puff of dust and it will be gone.

Well some investments wrapped in leather are quite tasty when smoked in a hickory pit.
