Which would be worse?

Which would end up being more catastrophic.

1) We wake up tomorrow and the United States has started bombing Iran.

2) We wake up tomorrow and North Korea has begun to Invade South Korea after just shortly testing a nuclear war head

3) Specop and Miki marrry and become the next president and first lady of the United States

without a doubt #3 ;-)
It is easier to enslave a people that wish to remain free then it is to free a people who wish to remain enslaved.

Who cares.

As long as the price of oil rises as a result and my energy-heavy investments grow I will be happy with any of those choices.

Oouch! The City Of San Diego just lost a bundle of pension money that was invested with that hedge fund in the news recently which was heavily into the energy sector and lost all those billions of dollars. I'll bet there are a number of people around here who have taken a financial hit lately.

PMS,

Yeah, like a 20 to 30% hit in the past few months alone. Local governments typically can't wait out this sort of market adjustment so it ends up a monstrous loss for the taxpayers. Too bad. Another CA tale similar to Orange County. More are coming.

But as long as individual investors have a bit of patience they should be ok. Having sat on the sidelines recent years, I'm trying to decide when would be a proper time to jump in and enjoy the ride back up. I think it's soon.

Go over to debka.com and read up on the Turkey-Kurdistan-Iran mess that Washington is trying to cool off. Israel is mixed up in it, and the supposed strike on Iran later this year as well. That could shoot those energy investments through the roof.

I think number one for sure. This is because the U.S. would be the agressor for the second time and then the world would seriously hate us more than they already do. But I think bush is doing more barking than biting. I'm sure he enjoys watching the pawns squirm in fear and anxiosness. At least it will boost Lunesta sales!
