A popular forum style site.

One of the community activities they do is hold "photoshop" contests.

Very funny...

That is all.

The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

I do indeed. And it's a good source of news, especially since this guy spends more time reading news than I will in my entire life in one day probably. Guess he has more patience.

Fark is how I was introduced to PO. Somebody linked to Savinar's site.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('wxman', 'F')ark is how I was introduced to PO. Somebody linked to Savinar's site.

Same here, back in January 2004. Someone wrote to the effect of:

"Enjoy your fossil-fuel heated homes while you can! http://lifeaftertheoilcrash.net"

I was skeptical, until I started reading... Needless to say I haven't stopped reading about it since; and I pretty much abandoned Fark because of it. Plus so many of Fark's posters are clueless and dumb. I do scan the headlines whenever I'm bored, and then read a few comments until I get disgusted and bail.

I too was pointed here from Fark. The poster warned not to spend much time here because it was a "unhappy" place.
