Because of our limited life-span our brains not able to compute the total impact of our acts. At some point there will be a "die off". You cannot stop it. Our main problem isn't perception it is one of intelligence. 80-90% of the world are useless (except in our current society were we place value on the low level work they can do) and always will be. They will also most likely have kids just as useless.
