Extremist Christians actually piss me off the most because they're deluded, wilfully ignorant, and can't be swayed by logic. I'm realistic enough to realize that about half the population of the U.S. is this way, and has no hope of changing. They'll try to beat everyone else into submission, then if they're still alive when everyone else is dead they'll starve to death muttering to themselves about how right they were and how Jeebus will arrive any time now. All because they're too weak to handle a little introspection and critical thinking.

I apply the same criticism to any religious zealot in the world; however, the religious idiots in the U.S. have no excuse, as they actually have the resources (for now) to educate themselves and rise above all this crap; they're simply too intellectually lazy to do it.
