USA Today has even gotten in on the act.

i almost bought today's paper, but then i noticed it was 75 cents.

front page - "youth crime sweeps the nation" - or something like that.

closer to home - during the last week, ALL the shopping carts were stolen from the local supermarket over a period of days. zip, zero, zilch shopping carts left.

it's not like they're made out of copper or something !?

what's wierd is ... management isn't telling the guys at the checkout stand anything about replacing the stolen carts.

no return on investment ? they plan on closing the store ?
