as the pipes burst, as the A/C runs out, as the brown-outs ripple across the country-side, as the freezer that makes 7-11 Slurpee's runs out of ice - will we see a few (billion) - tantrums ?

just wondering if "Oil Pique" might be a good name for a movie.

Here is a good name that I just came up with,


Earth Blood Apocalpyse,

Essentially oil is a liquid, which has lots of pressure on it, and so one could argue, that since oil is a mineral resource, its kind of like the blood of the planet.

Here is another one, Death's Peak, essentially because it's referring to the destruction of civilization, and so one could call Peak Oil, the event of death, hence Death's Peak. I know it's misleading, but it gives people certain emotions(which titles should do) and it gives a visual image, sort of a mountain in this case. When creating a name for a movie, I think it's more important to take whatever emotions you want associated with the movie, and find words that match those emotions, rather than the declarative meaning(actual meaning). It's the emotion your trying to convey, because movies essentially are instruments to manipulate your emotions to entertain and please you, and satisfy some emotional need.

Anyway, I could come up with more quite easily, but that's all I'm interested in posting currently.
