The Ultimate PO Escape (Real Life Story)

Imagine living on a barge with a beautful woman a 100 miles from the nearest people. Does it get any better than this?

What if she wants the remote control? It could become the 7th circle of hell. I wouldn't mind a few weeks of it though.

The last thing that a hippie chick wants is the remote, dude.

That's what makes hippie chicks so great.

I love hippie chicks, that girl on the houseboat must be very special...

But even then I probably couldn't stand it to live together with her for more than one month (not to talk about that she wouldn't stand a week with me)

I was hoping others would share their escape fantasies.

Oh, cool. I started a thread once with that same premise. How's this: everybody starts dying because there isn't any food in the stores. I have enough stored food and supplies to keep me and my loved ones going. We fight off the cannibals and havoc-wreakers and live off of grown potatos, beans and shot bird stew. When the ammo runs thin, we trade salt for bullets. (salt is cheaper than dirt now, but essential later). We hold our noses and turn all the corpses into fertiliser. We hold our noses and recycle our own crap. We make it when everyone else is toast. Fantastic enough for you? Pay no attention to the diseases behind the curtain.

The only thing that's missing is the big zombie chase.

Funny how we all envision things unfolding in vastly different ways.

For some, it will be a combination of Dawn of the Living Dead and the Omega Man, where the good guys have to constantly fight off the zombies/cannibals.

For others, it maybe something closer to War of the Worlds with mass migrations of escaping populations clogging the highways as they try to make their way to areas considered safer.

Then there's me. I anticipate a long slow decline as described in:
