What's the story on J.R. Nyquist ?

Unread postby TommyJefferson » Tue 14 Mar 2006, 23:34:52

I ran across the website of J.R. Nyquist - http://www.jrnyquist.com

He seems libertarianish. He seems to write in grand themes without factual backup (eg. Russia's economic output equals L.A. county).

What the story on this guy? Nut? Prophet? Wise Man? justa'nuther Scribbler?

Is anyone familiar with him?

Nyquist sounds Swedish so I'm sure he's OK.

What would you 'Muricans be without the non-English European immigrant blood running through your veins? I'll tell you! You would have had red hair, big ears and bad teeth.

That's all I can say at this point since I didn't look at the link.

I hope it was helpful anyway.

OUR FRAGILE WORLD

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('J.R.Nyquist', 'P')eople are fragile, countries are fragile and the peace of the world is fragile. And so are financial systems based on paper. Prosperity itself is fragile. All you need is a trigger mechanism, like a widening war, and the world itself can fall to pieces. Or maybe it’s falling into pieces now and further disintegration is inevitable.

Sounds like he is the life and soul of the party. :)
