The immigration to this country has never stopped. It continues to this day. I know a Brazilian girl who is now an American because she found herself a soldier to marry (she asked me a few months ago if I knew anybody who'd marry her so she could be American). People still want to be Americans in spite of the bad press lately. How can you blame them? This girl now has better health coverage than I do.

As for immigration, agreed it never stopped. Some times it has been more restricted, often to the detriment of various racial/ethnic groups.
As things get worse, and assuming some republic survivives and the masses have some say, things will tighten down even more.

I don't care about politics so much as NO Supreme court justice has to say a Darn thing about their a)personal veiws b) How they might vote.

The SENATE, yes those Pedophile pushing medical/pension free-loading creeps, who are still nominaly ELECTED, Have the RIGHT to interogate better than this.
EVERYTIME you hear "Bi-partisan" you are being SOLD down the river.
We also need more than the Double headed Eagle of Politics (the Demi-RATS And Re-PUBES). These guys sold and BIPARTISAN SUPPORT sold out the manufacturing base to cheap labor, when the oil here got scarce....
