How to cite a DVD for a research paper

OK, I know this is stupid, but I am writing a proposal for a research topic and I would like to know how to properly site the End of Suburbia as a source. The topic I am proposing is related to the suburbanization of America. This DVD has great material on that subject.

Consult the Chicago Manual of Style or the MLA Style Manual I'm pretty sure both of these will tell you how to cite to DVDs.

The sources for information in the documentary may be listed on the DVD credits somewhere, or you may find them by calling the number listed on their website. Citing to an original print source is more authoritative if you're using statistics or research you learned through the DVD anyway. On the other hand, if you are quoting interviews in the documentary, you would just cite to the DVD.
