I know this is a old topic but I just had this epifhany.

Maybe when Athiests die, they do not go to hell. Maybe they get immortalized by being put on pre-recorded NPR shows where they spend the rest of eternity in syndication. I'll let you make your own judgements on if NPR shows are hell on earth or a tool of Lucifer.

NPR: Another tragic example of the "dumbing down" of Amerikan social consciousness. There's now little difference between the NPR "news programs" and craptacular MSM products like "Access Hollywood" etc, ad nauseum. Is there REALLY somebody at NPR that thinks we need MORE chit chat about Harry Potter movies-no wait-now it's King Kong?
I do think "This American Life" is one of the best programs on the air, though. "Wait, wait" has been ruined by idiotic canned appaluse. Dr Zorba and the Tappet Bros need to be sent to Athiest Hell ASAP.

No I think they believe that after death it's really over. The body justs fritters away and decompose like tax dollars pumped into NPR.

Two things from this athe-agnostic:

I listen to NPR, slightly, just to get some news headlines, because I refuse to listen to commerical radio, and I won't watch TV, ever. I hate NPR more and more each day.

Second, I haven't the slightest idea what happens after death. I have a feeling it will be just like not having been born yet.

I don't know.. in my country 80% of people are atheists :-)

That doesnt mean they are not spiritual.. but I have never personally met person who would believe in heaven, hell or other christian sci-fi crap :-)

It just means we have no fanatics, no religious violence, no problems with sex transmitted diseases or other stuff some christian societies can't even properly discuss.

So enjoy your speculations, I will spend my life living as happy, meaningfull and honorable as I can..
