Perhaps it is my poor command of standard English language, but I haven't got the faintest idea what you are talking about :?

Welcome to the forum, old timer.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 't')his is such an outrage that oil and gas prices are still in the 2.00$ range? why arent they going down

Gasoline is not going down in price because we use too much, and the last new refinery in the US was built in 1976 or something, so there is only so much around. There has to be a way to decide who gets it and who does not. So, the price goes up, and the ones who can afford it will get it.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'w')hat is are governmeny doing about it

The government is not going to do anything about it. For one thing, they can't. It's all supply and demand. For another thing, even if they could, they wouldn't because you elected a lot of oilmen to run the place, and when you elect some oil men, you are going to get higher prices for oil.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'w')ell the government said that the gas prices are goinh up from the war

They lied. They do this a lot.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'w')ell why, does the war really have some thing to do about it

The war has a lot to do about it. We are over there for no other reason than to protect and/or steal what oil is left. Also, to get the big US oil companies some big contracts to pump and deliver it to the US so people can run their SUV's.
The reason the oil prices are high is that they have it, and you do not. If you were them, you would want to get as much money as you can for it too. The reason for us being over there is that they have it, and you do not. So in a way it's the same reason.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'w')hy are we even still at war.. thats ower gov. for you

You got that right.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'i')f theres any posts for this topic right back plz thanx.
Lot of people are writing about this. What you gotta understand is that we are really lucky it is as cheap as it is. Probably by spring, it is going to go up again. For sure by next summer, when people start to drive again. Natural gas and heating oil will be even worse.
