I guess after the companies that use the most fuel have mergered all they can, the next step is to start stripping down their services.

Did you notice how those cellophane rolls of round buttery crackers (e.g., Ritz) have been chintzing us out of the full 40 count of crackers for the past couple of years? First it was 39, then 38, now you're lucky to get 37. I think the average is 35. This package here had only 33 crackers in it.

Ritz crackers are sold by weight not volume (link)

Plus they contain partially hydrogenated soybean oil, sugar, high fructose corn syrup.
