Recently there was a rough calculation on how much oil is extracted and consumed daily - there was a picture of Niagra Falls and we were told to envision 2 hours worth of "flow" to represent the oil consumed daily - that is a LOT of volume.
Purely speculation on what's happening to Everest - but you have to wonder... probably the magma below is being rerouted elsewhere.
There is no connection between the height of Mt. Everest and oil extraction. I assume you were kidding but not everyone knows not to take such statements seriously.
