Not a problem crow... welcome.
The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

I dont think either of these guys have that much credibility. I visit rense occasionally, does have some unusual news but I dont really think most of the stuff he puts should be taken seriously.

Armageddon, you should be thankful that bigoted nutjobs like Rense dismiss peak oil. Why? Peak Oil is having more than enough trouble becoming established already; it has to contend with a world full of delusional politicians and economists, AND an ignorant, over-indulged, and complacent populace (especially in developed countries). If loonies like Rense etc started putting their "integrity" at stake by supporting peak oil, could you imagine how devastating that would be for all the people out there who were trying to get the world to take peak oil seriously?
If a "credible" source like Scientific American or Nature or The New York Times were to start calling Peak Oil a lie or a conspiracy, THEN we would have reason to be worried.

Jones is extremely credible, everything he says is backed up by mainstream media articles or government documents.

For example, his latest documentary 911 Martial Law Rise of the Police State has hundreds of documented reports. http://www.martiallaw911.info
Jones takes government documents and news, and conforms a theory regarding an imminent NWO.

Rense is another story, he's into the ET thing. Which very well may be real but it's not my cup of tea so I can't give an opinion.

According to AJ, PO is a scam in order to make us dependent on the government and to bring about the NWO.

Here is a link to some of his peak oil articles.

Personally, I am about 70% believer in PO. But you must keep your mind open. Step on the other side. Peak Oil shouldn't be a religion.
Now why didn't I take the blue pill.

i think rense and jones are sincere and correct about alot of things, except they are definately wrong about PO. rense believes in ufo;s and alot of other non sense, but he is also right about alot also. he is very entertaining for sure.

It's likely not an either/or scenario. Jones is likely absolutely right that oil companies and the Saudi govt. will eventually play the peak oil card for all it's worth. This doesn't mean peak oil isn't real. Propaganda often radiates from ideas that are marginally or even substantially true.

As far as Rense and ufos go, there are many highly educated and influential people who are very interested in this topic and other esoteric topics as well.

The reptilian bloodlines

Unread postby Newsseeker » Thu 19 May 2005, 20:46:38

David Icke, who claims that the world is a holographic videogame and reptilian bloodlines rule the world through secret societies among other things has more hits than this site. The sad truth is that believing in certain theories is like candy while peak oil is not. Jones, Rense and Icke would lose their audiences if serious hardcore truth made its way in.

Comparing Jones to Icke and Rense is comparing apples, oranges, and bananas.

Jones only uses hard core facts.

For example: visit http://www.martiallaw911.info in order to see how he used documents for his latest documentary.

If you go to his website prisonplanet.com, you will see that's it all mainstream media news stories. AJ is the guy that sneaked into Bohemian Grove. He does real investigative journalism.

No UFOs, no reptilians, just that facts please.

Classic disreputable framing at it's best. Here's another, Newseeker, Kewpie dolls and Ronald Macdonald. How about Newseeker, Hitler, Hussein and bin Laden. Or maybe Newseeker, Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck?

David Icke also claims a lot of other things which are hard to refute.
Not that I dismiss his wildest claims by any means having seen and experienced what I have in the past.

Newsseeker indeed! Quite frankly you know nothing

And isn't Alex having a field day on tonight's show with the George Galloway testimony sticking it up the Senate hearing with their FORGED DOCUMENTS

He also mentioned the possibility of $150 a barrel oil and what a nightmare that would be so maybe he might be changing his mind

There you have it.

IF AJ investigates PO for himself, he will get to the bottom of it. I do hope he tackles PO. He has said he might do a documentary, but at the same time he was alleging that PO was a NWO scam.

But if he does do a documentary, it will be supported by facts.

you cant blame alex jones for thinking PO is a nwo scam because i think we are headed for the nwo. but i agree, if he researches and investigates PO he will definately agree with the undeniable evidence that PO is real. i think 2006 will be the peak year. with natural decline, there will be no way to make up the gap , and the world will never produce more than it does in 2006.

What really frustrates me about these guys is the way that they think the worlds elite can manufacture a scam involving natural resources.

If someone can give me a theory as to how the worlds ruling classes can manufacture a global energy supply crisis leading to a die off then I might give AJ and Rense some credibility. Unless that happens then I just consider what they say to be jibberish.

i heard alex jones say that there are many oil fields in america. the thing he fails to recognize is that the amount of oil fields has nothing to do with PO. hes right , there are many oil fields. some are even capped. they cap some when it becomes too expensive to extract ol from it. but, that isnt what PO is all about. PO is the time when the earth is producing the most amount of oil at one time and that it will never produce that same amount again. many factors figure into it. eg. high demand, natural decline from existing oil fields, lack of new discoveries, etc. After the world reaches PO, the decline starts, oil skyrockets, economies crumble ( if not before ) , and depression sets in. By 2010, civilization as we know will never be the same. Once an economic downturn starts, it cannot be turned around without cheap oil and cheap money and credit, which we will never see again.

Rense probably thinks PO is a Jewish conspiracy and that the whole thing is Israeli propaganda so that through some convoluted logic, all that oil money actually winds up in Israel and not with the Saudis. After all, according to Rense everything the Bush administration has done thus far has been at the behest of their Israeli puppet masters in the name of Israeli security and power. No big surprise he doesn't buy into PO.
