Unread postby kelee877 » Sat 06 Aug 2005, 08:15:53

Just in case I do sell it today I wanted to post to all of those I know..that I will not be on daily and will go to the locale library now to go online..I will miss all of you..
I do have a back-up computer, but with the rising costs of everyday items, the budget is getting squeezed and the internet and cable might have be disconnected..plus I have to get rid of my poor ole 1983 station wagon and have bought a 1996 chevy corsica..and I need some money to get the new car safetied..
Times are a tough when you are a single mom of 3 kids trying to go it alone..
I,ll be back as soon as I can..

Dial up! :)

Dont you get child support? If you dont, DO!
And check into state assistance as well.

who the heck buys 2nd hand computers? i mean, i do, but who asks for any sort of price. you can pay $300 and get something that could run an entire space programe. it's like, "hey I sold my hot water system!" Aaaah anyhow, I'm in a bad mood because of the cricket.

No the computer did not sell today..you are stuck with me for a little while longer..
I have a few that are interested in it..I paid good bucks for this pc and have upgraded all the way..and anyways..with peak oil on its way..I really have no need for it or any of the electrcial things in my house..
I am a pioneer women..and would rather own a wood cooking stove over a microwave any day...a garden over a fridge..you get my point

Oh, I like where you're coming from more than 99.95+% of people out there do, just in another dimension I despair of people expecting to get "good" money for selling their computers, without realising that the g'd'things get 50% cheaper each year, like by a force of nature or busy chinkos. :)

Hell yeah, sell your stuff & head for the hills, - at least for a while - (and the timing's all yours) - but I tend to think of pc's as being worth more than the +-$200 you could get for the one you've got. Hell, sell your blood & you get more than that, right? ( I don't know the answer... I live in one of them socialist hellhole 5-star countries.) and that's just dumb luck i assure you.

Excuse me for asking, but why did you buy such an enormous car?

I can understand that you need a car, but why not get something more economical like a small 2door-hatchback? They are big enough to fit three children in and it should more than halve your fuel costs. And if the tax system is the same as here (tax per kg of car) it should also reduce your taxes.

Don't worry about computers Kelee. I have it on good authority from Aaron that he has a secret backup plan....when the electricity goes down we will all stand on top of our roofs with big flags and conduct PeakSpeak by semaphore.

:)

I hope you will be in touch in future from in internet cafe at least...
