"The past is never dead & buried - it isn't even past"
The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

William Faulkner is correct...
However, I think the correct quotation would be "The past is not dead. In fact, it's not even past."
"In the U.S., fears are so exaggerated and out of control that anxiety is the number-one mental health problem in the country.", Barry Glassner

Ok,

So I botched the literal text...

Points for intent? :)

"People are afraid of the future, of the unknown. If a man faces up to it, and takes the dare of the future, he can have some control over his destiny. That's an exciting idea to me, better than waiting with everybody else to see what is going to happen." -John Glenn Jr.

Stop filling dumpsters, as much as you possibly can, and everything will get better.

Just think it through.

I was searching for a quote I know from Honest Abe Lincoln. Haven't found it yet. I found this accidentally during my search.

The ink of the scholar is more sacred than the blood of the martyr. ~Mohammad

I had never heard that Mohammad had said this but ran across it in the quote garden. http://www.quotegarden.com/learning.html

If you can find the correct quote from Abe Lincoln this is close:

It is better to be thought a foul and remain silent than to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

edit:

Captain at the prison in the movie Cool Hand Luke:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'W')hat we have here.... is... failure to communicate. Some men you just can't reach.
