Dear forum and PO people: I have to leave you all

Unread postby lorenzo » Sun 24 Jul 2005, 15:27:32

Hi all, I've had some of the best times of my life, here on the PO forum. Your enthusiasm and spirit is great, and it's something we need more in this world.

Sadly, I have to leave you for a while. I have been diagnosed with quite a scary disease, and I'm not sure if I will ever see you again. Soon, I will be spending a lot of time in hospitals, and it will be very difficult for me to participate in the debates on this forum.

I wish to thank you all for your fine thoughts, they broadened my views on many topics. To all those who I may have offended while participating on the forum: my sincere apologies.

Hoping to see you again in the (uncertain) future, I must say goodbye, and thanks again,

Yours, Lorenzo.

Lorenzo, How terrible. Do you mind if I ask what is wrong and when you found out. My prayers are with you.

Addio, dolce svegliare
alla mattina!

Addio, sognante vita...

Addio, rabbuffi e gelosie!

...che un tuo sorriso acqueta!

Addio, sospetti!...

...baci...

Pungenti amarezze!

Ch'io da vero poeta
rimavo con carezze!

Soli d'inverno è cosa da morire!
Soli! è cosa da morire!
Soli!

Adio, Lorenzo.

Good bye, I hope you are back to your old self in no time.

Despite our differences in the past, now is not the time for petty squabbling, so focus on getting better!

Lorenzo.
Lorenzo lorenzo lorenzo.

We may not see eye to eye. And I may think your a stark raving insane person. But that doesnt mean I'd wish you, nor ANY member of Peak Oil, ANY unfortunate times or ill will.

Give'm hell buddy. Remember, Western medicine is the most technologically advanced medicine ever known. That doesnt make it the best. Dont forget all the fantastic alternative medicines and therapys. And dont overlook the importance of even just eating lots of really healthy food.

Best of luck to you, and I truly do hope to see you back on Peak Oil so we can pick up where we left off. :)

Gee, Lorenzo...I haven't agreed with all you have to say, but I hope you make a full recovery preferrably BEFORE Peak Oil really starts to hit.
