BS facebook "oil expert" video. Compares oil with water HaHaHa, like the oil evaporates out of our engines and rains back down to fill the wells

Of course we will never run out of oil, why even say such a thing. What we will run out of is the oil necessary to power our 20th century economies. There will always be oil for fighter jets and the limousines of the rich and famous. Even if they have to build a nuclear reactor above an oil field to pull it out.
We're 17 years past the peak now and the 3rd World is going hungry and dark. We'll be next, we're well on the way in fact.

The question is do we run out of demand before we run out of oil. I think the fighter jets and tanks keep burning oil long after the last of the regular consumer vehicles with ICE's goes extinct. The economy at that point will be quite different I suppose, but I bet we'll still be able to get grain to the plant to make cereal to keep us all fat and unhealthy.
Yes we are, as we are,
And so shall we remain,
Until the end.

Yes the demand is the thing and it's linked to price. Not the $80 or $180, but the price people can afford to pay. The way I see it is that as less and less oil is available for a growing industrial world, these prices we see in oil and food and fertilizer etc etc are pushing people out of the 1st world and into the 2nd and 3rd. A reversal of the process we saw from say, 1950 onward. In once sense it doesn't matter that oil production has plateaued and in decline, there are still a Billion people in China and India waiting for their air conditioned car and home and they will never see it. Also a lot of the so called oil equivalents now produced is useless for that. They make plastic bags out of it you can't run cars on it. Likewise the population in all those places is declining and the only reason it's increasing in the West is because of immigration. Perhaps those 3rd worlders moving up into the US sense the end of the age of oil and want to position themselves better for it.

Fighter jets and tanks are now obsolete. Warfare has completely changed. However, not everyone has figured it out yet, they are called losers.

That would be cool, all they have to do is make sure they come over legally. We are making a lot more room as we get rid of the illegals.

What an idiot! Israel pounding Gaza with bombs and tanks rolling through the streets, pounding Syria with it's fighter jets. The ukraine brought to heel by the use of Russian artillery and tanks. You've been watching too many episodes of star-trek inke

What can you buy with $100 Million dollars, that's 10,000 Australian homes covered in solar panels, half of which, $5000 each home, is paid for by the Federal Government.
Here's what $100 million gets you in the USA.
