Good Historic Graph

Can anyone point me to a link for a good image of oil use on a thousand year time scale? You know, the one that shows essentially the needle of oil use by humans over about 200 years, but shown over a time period of about 2-4000 years? Heinberg has it in Party's Over, I think I've seen it somewhere on Dieoff, but can't find it with a search. I'm working on an intro piece to really get folks attention (probably won't work, but what the heck?). Thanks much.

Yeah, thanks. But I'm looking for one without the other info, which for my purposes will just be distracting. Also, that one has the whole thing shifted ever so slightly to the right.

There is a pretty good graph at http://www.eroei.com/solutions/population.html

You have to scroll down a bit, it's entitled: The Epoch of Fossil Fuel Exploitation

Thx, Rax... not THE one I was looking for, but pretty much the same thing.

Actually, if anyone cares, THE ONE I was looking for can be found on pg. 23 of this PDF: http://www.duke.edu/greening/peakoil_pr ... 5B1%5D.pdf

And Ed Cox's whole presentation is pretty interesting (as was Larry Shirley's - for a state energy director to be so forthright in a public presentation is pretty amazing).
