$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('PenultimateManStanding', 'W')hat do you mean, 'what??' specop, do you want to rearrange your head? Salvia will do it. Not a thing like crack. Its a strange and exotic thing altogether. The strangest thing I have ever encountered.

No man, 4 hits of good acid is intense.

I don't know what your experience is with psychoactive substances, k_semler, but salvia is weird beyond belief. That goes for any psychonauts who have tried LSD.

Just LSD Windowpane once. That was enough for me! Pot I used l6 times, but I don't think it is really worth blowing $5.00 to get high a couple times. I do drink about a 6 pack a night though Sometimes I drink more, rarely I drink less..

Semler, If you have any difficulty with addictive substances, research ibogane. I think that's how it's spelled. It's said, and I fervently believe that the addict is basically a very spiritual being who has his transcendant nature chronically frustrated by the mundane. The closest he/she can get to the eternal is through alcohol, and it's the most unsatisfactory route to take.

The class of entheogens that PMS is describing are not really similar to acid or anything you might be familiar with. They have been described as actual, not metaphorical portals into parallel or other dimensions, the visions are so compellingly real. I really admire PMS's pioneering in this area. He's making inroads in areas where others fear to tread, (me, for example)!!

Heh heh,

Salvia makes acid seem about as strong a hallucinogen as a tepid half-cup of decaf.

It completely replaces your reality principle. Do not smoke salvia standing up: you will not feel yourself fall down and break your junk. It is not a little-of-meatspace-plus-perturbations: it is totally immersive. You will not see what's in front of you, even if your eyes are open: your brain will be making its own show. Coming down is like remembering laws of physics one by one. YMMV, some trips are merely standard-grade hallucinogenic or even just giddy.

Allow for a couple of days to re-integrate your worldview to include what it had excluded before.

A different type of trouble in the restaurant

Police and firemen recovered the bodies of six Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) employees after an angry mob set the restaurant on fire late yesterday following a suicide attack on a Shiite Muslim mosque that killed five people.
Let us make him who shall nourish and sustain us. What shall we do to be invoked; to be remembered in the earth.
We have tried with our first creatures but we could not make them venerate us.
So let us try to make obedient respectful beings who shall

Sklump, Can you honestly say that this was just a brainshow and that you weren't somehow translated into an actual different reality? Or does it just draw the definition of reality into question?

Ahh, can anyone honestly say that what we're experiencing right now is more than a brainshow? How would we know?

I have some experience with lucid dreaming and mulling over its flavour in retrospect, the salvia effect seems most likely to me to be drop-kick into a deep dream-state. However, some people are convinced that intelligent beings inhabit the space.

There is a story about an American woman with heart trouble who went to Mexico to experience the effects of salvia divinorum in the plant's native Oaxaca. She reported visions of being in a garden tended by a ten-foot woman gardener. She stayed absolutely still and the giantess came over to her and ran her hand through the woman's chest. When she returned to the US her heart problems were cured. That's the story anyway. I read over at maps.org about a clinically depressed woman for whom no combination of anti-depressants and therapy did her any good. Salvia cured her. Its very strange and I don't particularly like it. Definately not for recreational use.

What happens if you go all the way to the white light? Will you die? Or get "trapped" and never come back? I always get scared and "turn off" into a nearby "dimension"(manifests as a "honeycomb" thru which I must pass)

I'm keeping a good supply of the stuff (while its still legal anyway, and which I don't currently have any desire to use) and if the world crashes and burns I'm going to go into the light.
