Depends on the snack wanted at the time, whether something sweet, salty, or meat is desired.
If something sweet is desired, a Berry Liquor freeze is the ticket. Get ~16 oz of Edys Berry Rainbow sherbet, about 1/2 oz of blueberries, 1/2 oz of raspberries, 1/2 oz of blackberries, 4 oz of some Libbys Juicy Juice berry flavored, 8 oz of ice, and 4 oz of Raspberry Vodka(at least 70 proof). Take the ice, put it in a blender, and chop it until it's like a dust. Then pour in the berries first and blend, ice cream second and blend, and everything else after. Blend until smooth. Shake the blender's container around if needed. If the consistency is too liquidy, freeze for 15 minutes and stir afterwards.
If you've just smoked an 1/8th oz of pot and want something salty to kill the munchies, some homeade frenchfries, lots of salt, and a good ketchup are the ticket. Cheap, greasy, fattening, salty, and satisfying.
Meat? Canned crab meat cooked with shallots and doused in olive oil, fried bacon, wafer sliced peppered turkey-breast, alfalfa sprouts, red onion, on toasted wheatberry bread with mayonaise.
If you are frugal on purchasing the ingredients or get them on sale, these snacks can all be made for cheap. Otherwise, don't bother for the meat, as it can get expensive if the ingredients aren't purchased on sale. The freeze can be made for about $2-3 each for something that ends up between .75 and 1 liter in volume, less if you get the ingredients on sale.
