I'm on the side of Israel, and I hope they crush the Nazis. I have no plans of joining a suicidal death cult that treats their women like this:

or this:

I don't plan on teaching my son to slice his head open:

or teaching him how to kill himself:

I understand your point. The pictures speak for themselves. Maybe you prefer this to Islamic extremism:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('seldom_seen', ' ')The ones that are in to "politics," sit around the coffeehouse all day with their laptops and their Che Guevera T-shirt reading antiwar.com and thinking how cool they are

Yes they are irritating, you can be political and more pro establishment too though.

I used to like talking politics. Not now. Waste of time. I talk about people in power causing others to suffer. We stand by, or even support this massive act of destruction. The Isralis don't care about me or you, they don't care if a disillusioned Arab lad blows himself up next to you. They care about land, water, growth and whatever else, screw you whether you support them or not, it just doesn't matter to them.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'W')hat would you die for? Is there anything you would die for?

I will probably die at the hands of some neanderthal skinhead because I refuse to repeat what I know to be lies. Maybe someone else I don't know. I won't just look away and pretend that my way of life is not negotiable or even normal. People are suffering to maintain this status quo. The status quo isn't even that great but people are dying in order that it be maintained.

Not believing in god or afterlives makes me see people born, suffer, die as unacceptable. All these riches we have and we haven't even become truely civilized.

Although I believe we will experience a die off, we should not be helping it on its way. IMO. for what its worth.

If you think this is just isolated to Israel you're quite mistaken Miki.

Here's the latest exploit of your Islamic Nazis:

They dress up like school children and then shoot a bhuddist school teacher of 20 years right in front of his classroom full of students:

http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/5209168.stm

That's just f'ing sick and wrong.

1-Yes, it is sick and wrong. Yes, Israel is not the only terrorist organization in the world. But that does not imply that Islamists are Nazis. You're not supporting your point at all or even contributing to the discussion by pointing out that Israelis are not the only ones doing it. We all know that.

2-There are extremists in *all* monotheistic religions. Extremist Christians in the US have burnt abortion clinics with everyone inside. Does that imply that Christians are terrorists and that American culture is a culture of violence and terrorism?

3-You are talking about *isolated events*. I am talking about a whole government commiting terrorism against a whole nation. Both situation are not even comparable.

Ahh, the classic "abortion center response." Islamic terrorist attacks are happening all around the world almost on weekly if not daily basis it seems now.

But if you happen to mention this blatant fact, the apologists will remind you that some nut job blew up an abortion clinic once in the US. As if to render null and void the recent terrorist attacks in India, Israel, Thailand, Russia, the UK, Spain, Bali, France, Australia, the US, Et Cetera...

You forgot to mention Timothy McVeigh and the OKC bombing.

Nice response Seldom. Goebles would be proud. Nice application of his principles. "Whatever you are doing that is detestful, acuse your opponent of doing it."

Fact: No Islamic country has ever invaded or made any serious move toward invading the US or Europe

Fact: European and Americans right now brutaly occupy a piece of land they have called Isreal which they have ethnically cleansed of Islamic people. Everyday they terrorize and kill Islamic people in Palestine.

Fact: The United States and other European people have manipulated and terrorized the Middle East for decades.

Fact: Tens of thousands have died and one of the largest countries in the Middle East has been torn to shreds by the US quest for oil in Iraq.

Fact: The CIA was largely responsible for the creation and arming of Al Queda among others. (Remember Reagan's beloved Mujahadeen? I do.)

Yours is the same domino theory Johnson was using back in the 60's. "If we let people choose to be Islamic and govern themselves, next thing you know they'll try to make us Islamic." Bullshit! If the US disengaged from the Middle East and Isreal quit terrorizing Arabs, Al Queda, Hezbolla, Hamas, and every other Islamic fundamentalist group would wither and die. Those groups are only able to recruit because people are being brutalized and they can't figure any other way to stop it. For your sake though, I think yours is a good tactic. You're brutalizing them and trying to control their lives. You should shout loudly and adamantly that they are brutalizing you and trying to control your life. "A lie repeated often enough becomes truth."

OK fine. The Ottomans invaded the southeast corner of Europe in the 1500's. I was trying to stick to the last 200 years or so. The crusades, for example hardly seem germane to the present situation. People may know about things that happened 500 years ago. They may even still hold a grude about it. They don't strap themselves with dynamite because of it.

She was obviously talking about the post WWII period, when the US and the West invented Human Rights.

You and Seldom_Seen have a bad habit of taking us back in time to the time of the Inquisition. Let me remind you that while Islamic nations were expanding their territories through military means, the West was doing *exactly* the same in its Imperialist campaign to force everyone to convert to Christianism and be subdued or die with the sword.

You and Seldom_Seen need to dig out your high school history books from the basement and review a couple of lessons on the history of Western "civilization".

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'B')ut if you happen to mention this blatant fact, the apologists will remind you that some nut job blew up an abortion clinic once in the US. It helps that your media makes a big fuss every time a Muslim engages in violence, while mentioning just a few instances of Western terrorism.

You just have to watch CNN for a free demonstration of that. They spend hours repeating that 30 people died in Israel (20 are soldiers), and dwelling on images of a few buldings that have been destroyed and a few civilians that were injured. On the other hand, they only *mention* the number of civilians that have died in Lebanon, which is 10 times the number killed in Israel. By just mentioning the casualities and not showing any images of the human suffering and the massive destruction of infrastructure in Lebanon, they are dehumanizing the content of the Lebanese news, helping Americans symphatize with the Israeli cause, while they view the damage in Lebanon as a "casualty" necessary for the "advancement of democracy" and the "war on terror".

*All* the instances of terrorism that you have ennumerated *together* did not result in the destruction of infrastructure and the slaughter of civilians that is taking place in Lebanon *as we speak*, and that has taken place for decades in Palestine.

Just to give you an idea,

1-Over 30% of the Lebanese population has been converted into refugees in only two weeks.

2-The economy of the country has collapsed. It will take years to recover, if not decades.

3-The infrastructure destroyed *so far* has taken the country 30 years back in time, and we'll need 3 000 million dollars to reconstruct all the damaged areas.

4-On a per capita basis (this country has around 4 million people), the death toll has been the equivalent of a 9/11 *per day*. for the last two weeks, and counting.

And you have the guts to talk about Islamic terrorism??

You're wearing such a big hat of hatred towards the US and Europe that you can't see past the brim. None of my posts have been to defend the policies of US and Europe so I don't know what you're getting at.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('smallpoxgirl', 'F')act: No Islamic country has ever invaded or made any serious move toward invading the US or Europe

This is where your ignorance is most apparent.

The Moors were the medieval Muslim inhabitants of al-Andalus (the Iberian Peninsula including the present day Spain and Portugal) and the Maghreb and western Africa, whose culture is often called Moorish.

If you had any understanding of the attack on the subways in Spain, you would know that the muslim terrorists refer to it as "al-andalus."

If you think the muslim uprising in france where hundreds of cars were burned was just a random riot and not an organized and planned message to leaders of France and other European leaders than you can continue to wallow in your denial and ignorance.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('smallpoxgirl', 'F')act: European and Americans right now brutaly occupy a piece of land they have called Isreal which they have ethnically cleansed of Islamic people. Everyday they terrorize and kill Islamic people in Palestine.

Ahh yes the big bad evil Americans and Europeans, and the oh so humble and meek little palestinians. If you just leave them alone they'll lay down their bomb belts and rockets and the world will join hands together in peace.

More like pieces. A religion of pieces, body parts strewn in all directions.

Haha! Speaking of Goebbels. Your post reads like you copied and pasted it out of the Hamas Charter.

Wrong, wrong, wrong! This was more of a unorganized "class warfare" than having a muslim tag, many in fact were not even muslim. You are trying to paint a picture of an evil muslim enemy except you are not a very good painter.

Propaganda,   you keep referring to certain groups as islamic fascists when their organization leans way towards the left in the socialist area, get real. Seldom_seen, you're an interesting sort, you claim not to have any allegiance to the US or allies, but you are hell bent on painting the muslims as "evil". Note SPG said country. The idea of a country as a nation state is fairly recent invention.

For example, William the Conqueror invaded England, so did France, the Duchy of Normandy, or William's private army invade?

Similarly the crusades, did England invade the Levant or was it Richard the Lionheart with his private army and allies?

And you have a very prejudiced view of Arabs. You put them all in one sack, and label them "retrograde terrorists". Have you ever been to the Middle East, or do you get your understanding of Arab culture from CNN and Holywood movies?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'I')f you had any understanding of the attack on the subways in Spain, you would know that the muslim terrorists refer to it as "al-andalus."

Don't you think you're carrying your conspiracy theories a bit too far? Every French can tell you that the immigrant neighborhoods had extremely high rates of unemployment (more than 50%), as well as a quality of life that was well below the quality of life of the average French. So one day they got *fed up* of being discriminated and segregated into dirty suburbs, and they demonstrated their accumulated anger against the government and the "mainstream" French society. It had absolutely nothing to do with Islam and it was *completely* disorganized.

I see that you ran out of "historical" arguments and now you're moving into the realm of racism and unproved conspiracy theories.

We saw a similar pattern with Specop. Your next move will be to start sending personal insults.

Oh, you already started with the insults. Good. This is a sign that you will leave soon. We had a similar experience with Soothsayer, and Elijah and Specop don't seem to have much to say either...Farewell folks.

If I had the land and the power I would but I have no power in this world. But the players you listed picked your speck of land to play. Unfortunately, in their eyes you are expendable. As am I. You want to hurt Israel, get the Arabs and Persians to destroy their oil wells. Then all the players involved will be equalized.

Why destroy them? They own them, and if the bullies want oil, they need to pay for it like the "civilized" nations that they claim to be.

So much for civilization; a bunch of bullies that think that they can get whatever they want through stealing and coward slaughter.

Okay, you know my personal definition for civilization and civilized is thus, we have the bigger guns. It been that way since at least Rome. Those who protest will be silenced along with everyone along the way. Where people got their faith in humanity is beyond me.
