$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('TreeFarmer', 'I') would love to see what someone could do with a full-size SUV or pickup. Those things appear to be very un-aerodynamic, could someone take an 18 mpg vehicle and turn it into a 36 mpg vehicle?

Probably. Gearing/etc alone will get one near 30mpg, so with aeromods I imagine mid thirties at similar speed isn't out of reach.

Gearing, aerodynamic, adding plug-in hybrid capabilities, make it flex-fuel. The car companies could be doing so much more.
