Your body when you die belongs back to your family to have a proper burial, not after the State decides what part or if any of your body will be left to be buried..

Hell this law if goes nation wide could end up like in the Soylent Green movie where the State gets your body after death and feeds it to the masses,, Laws like this should not be started.........

')i don't see any problem in such a law. you and some religions decided that your body belongs to your family. i think that my body belongs to earth, and if my kindeys are going to be alive 10 years more than my stomach i don't care. they'll become earth anyway sooner or later. anyway, we'll be dead, so we won't be able to notice anything that will be done to our body.

I remember the death of our daughter being hugely traumatic. If the state had intervened to whip out her organs beyond our control or her express wishes it would have made a traumatic experience even worse.

it should be purely voluntary, but encouraged.

i forgot to mention leather , sorry. A hide of an average human is 20-30 square feet of perfectly good leather, suit for making wallets, fancy shoes and may be even belts and leather jackets. I'm not sure if tatooes will be beneficial or not though. I would guess a fat American (New Yorker, for sure) will carry even larger hide, plus the fat can be used for making a high-quality soap, candles, or it can be used as a fuel , or as lard for cooking .

why bother doing something with it, its good as it is. McDonalds uses beef fat to fry their french fries, well its the same thing. No processing required. Perhaps once its done its job , then it can be used as a bio-diesel.

And just think - the way things are going, we can just have the government kill off folks who do terrible things like express unpopular ideas (pro property rights, for example), and use their wonderful body parts right away, and get them while they're young and healthy!
