High 157
Low 62
Close 97

Cool, Revi. I added your numbers and Comp_Lex's Close estimate to the spreadsheet. We still need a couple close price guesses from two players.

Here's what I have now:

pup, what do you have?

There’s a strange irony related to this subject [oil and gas extraction] that the better you do the job at exploiting this oil and gas, the sooner it is gone.

I think you should enter the close price we have so far as not entering any close, that is the close is set to zero, totally screws up the standings.

Yeah, you're right, SteinarN.

I edited the image after entering a close price and resorting.

That's right, kublikhan.

lol @ Keith. You can't be too critical since you didn't play the game.

As a reminder, pup is the official scorekeeper, I'm just the QC guy.

In the last couple of oil price challenges, the frequency of posting the latest standings was usually done only when there was a new leader.

And pup: There were also 50 players in the 2009 game.

I downloaded the most recent data from the EIA (today's release) and resorted the data in the spreadsheet. There were some shifts in the standings, but not a new leader.

I think we should limit it to 50 since we are almost in february (and I'm already in).

I would like to make a friendly wager with VTsnowedin for a 1/2 pint of maple syrup to the one who's closest Dec. 21st.

We both make the stuff, so it shouldn't be too hard to come up with a half pint. What do you say?
