The government is.....lying........ about cash for clunkers.
They are claiming that small, gas efficient cars like the Ford Focus and the Toyota Tercell are the top sellers under this program. Wrong.
The top sellers are SUVs and big Pickup trucks.
BO administration lying about cash for clunkers car sales
The Obama people are dividing up the SUV models and pick-ups into 4-6 sub-models and counting each one separately.....when you count things as car sales have always been done, the Ford Escape (SUV) is #1 and only one little car even makes it in the top 5.
