Mike Ruppert, 53, is the Publisher/Editor of From the Wilderness or FTW, a newsletter he founded in March 1998 by mailing out 68 copies to friends and researchers. FTW is now read by more than 16,000 subscribers in 40 countries including 35 members of the US Congress, the intelligence committees of both houses, and professors at 30 universities around the world. Through the newsletter and his website at www.fromthewilderness.com, Mike has pioneered innovative analysis and groundbreaking original stories on the impact of $5-600 billion per year in drug money moving through the US economy and the illegal covert operations which maintain control of that cash flow for US economic interests.

A CALL FOR ACTION

Unread postby EnviroEngr » Wed 16 Jun 2004, 00:14:02

I was hoping to avoid this altogether, but it is not to be so.

Today, Mike sent me notice of Dale's report. I encourage everyone here to see if they can help out as requested:

A CALL FOR ACTION – by Dale Allen Pfeiffer
-FTW Science Editor Dale Allen Pfeiffer, Author of The End of The Oil Age, solicits contributions to a project aimed at answering this question: What measures can people of limited means undertake to ease their transition into a post-petroleum world? Unprecedented warnings from the scientific community indicate that the planet's ecosystems are stressed near the point of collapse; business as usual is no longer possible, and we have little time left to respond. Submissions will be published in a book, the profits of which will be used to inform people and possibly provide grants in order to help people prepare for the coming transition.

I will continue working with Aaron to make navigating here easier. Time permitting, we can get Open Discussion set up like he has the Round Table.

Let me know if something's going in the wrong direction so we can minimize the work it takes to make corrections.

WOW. Once again, very, very disturbing... a quote:

Ali Samsam Bakhtiari (vice president national Iranian Oil company)

"The crisis is very, very near. World War 3 has started. It has already affected every single citizen of the Middle East. Soon it will spil over to affect every single citizen of the world."

That FTW article is very good and well worth a read (it's quite long). It neatly brings together all the key news articles from the past few weeks and in a coherent manner.

Mike Rupperts value has shot up in my book.

Aldert, I am particularly disturbed at the notion of WW3 too. It's all well and good us lot muttering about such things here, but when such a figure as Ali Samsam Bakhtiari is talking about it, shivers really start to go up my spine!

um, bakhtiari's been clamouring about world war three since september 11th. according to him, the US would swoop in , topple all the mideast dictators, rebuild the arab world with a marshall plan and roll around (with the british--so don't worry yourself) in the oil money for the rest of time. china and india will just have to "make do" without oil. he also projects that there will be a fourth world war (and not the kind fought with sticks and rocks, as einstein so chillingly predicted)...so don't panic. the world isn't ending yet.

Mike Ruppert 9/11 Speech

Unread postby Guest » Thu 01 Jul 2004, 22:27:30

Mike Ruppert on Unwelcome Guests SHOW #206 9 May 2004
Dwindling Oil and 9/11 - Part 4 of the International Inquiry on 911's Unanswered Questions
http://www.radio4all.net/index.php?op=p ... 9301&nav=&

This week, more presentations by independent investigators at the international inquiry on 9/11 held in San Francisco in March. We will place 9/11 in context of the planet's dwindling oil resources and the closed-door decisions about how to deal with the phenomenon of peak oil that have apparently already been made by the Ameican power elites - to defend corporate capitalism at any cost, even if that means species extinction. This places 9/11 in a high stakes context that may change the way you look at the issue of 9/11's unanswered questions.

Featured Speakers: Richard Heinberg, Greg Palast, Mike Ruppert, Daniel Hopsicker

I transcribed the MaRCH 2004 Greg Palast and Richard Heinberg speechs too.

You'll find them on the the gem of peak oil websites and more at http://www.globalpublicmedia.com/

Plus they have Richard Heinberg and Mike Ruppert's speechs as an mp3 file for easy to handle downloading too.

FTW has its finger on the pulse of reality. It's the only source of media that I trust when it comes to layin' it down in no uncertain terms. I saw Ruppert speak and I was totally floored. It was the first time I'd heard about peak oil. Mentally, I was just barely prepared as most of us probably were when we found out.

I read an article in June that spoke at length about the possibility of a CIA/Military coup IN THE UNITED STATES. Both agencies are so completely pissed off by the current administration that they're on the verge of making it happen. All they need is one more big push...
