$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('mos6507', 'T')aking a news story and drawing a tinfoil conclusion is a common passtime here. The incident I like to bring up again and again is "Iran cable cut". The conclusion was that the US did it in order to scuttle the Iranian oil bourse and possibly as a precursor to war. If all the "verification" you need is proof that the cable was cut, there was plenty of it. But there was little proof that the US cut the cables. As it turned out, the oil bourse opened anyway, the world didn't end for the US, and war didn't break out. But this happens all the time. The news stories are merely a jumping off point for tinfoil speculation.

Two predictably tinfoily stories on the cable cut from infowars:

Thank you mos, this is exactly what i'm trying to point out to jotapay but the message isnt getting through. Conclusions rather than posted articles on info wars or prisonplanet is the fundamental problem.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Jotapay', '')$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('like_the_dinosaurs', 'S')o your going to use a documentry made by alex jones to prove that alex jones is right. :

You really are a fool. You're like a little kid that refuses to eat delicious food because of its color or because it looks funny.

Just watch it. David Gergen and others who attended acknowledged it was real. You really don't know what the hell I'm talking about, because you haven't researched what it is, or watched it, and you are blathering on like an ignorant buffoon. Being ignorant and loud about it is no way to go through life, son.

I love your use of analogies. Its like this.... It's like that... No its not.

Yes I looked it up once again its taken out of context by Alex Jones.

Here's an excerpt from wikipedia stating what it is.
$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', ' ')
Cremation of Care
The Cremation of Care ceremony was devised in 1893 by a member named Joseph D. Redding, a lawyer from New York.[12] It was originally scheduled to follow the serious "High Jinks" dramatic performance (later known as the Grove Play) on the first weekend of the summer encampment, and served as a catharsis for pent-up high spirits. In 1913, the ceremony was separated from the Grove Play and moved to the first night to become "an exorcising of the Demon to ensure the success of the ensuing two weeks". The Grove Play was moved to the last weekend of the encampment.

The ceremony involves the poling across a lake of a small boat containing an effigy of Care (called "Dull Care"). Dark, hooded figures receive from the ferryman the effigy which is placed on an altar and at the end of the ceremony, is set on fire. This "cremation" symbolizes that members are banishing the "dull cares" of conscience.

The ceremony takes place in front of a 45-foot (14 m) high hollow owl statue made of concrete over expanded metal framing and steel supports. The moss- and lichen-covered statue simulates a natural rock formation, yet holds electrical and audio equipment within it. During the ceremony, a recording of the voice of Walter Cronkite, a member of the Bohemian Club, is used as the voice of The Owl.[1] Music and pyrotechnics accompany the ritual for dramatic effect.

Sources are listed at the bottom of the page.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'R')onson documented his view of the ritual in his book, Them: Adventures With Extremists, writing that it was a startling, immature, and bizarre way for world leaders to spend their summer vacations, but that he did not see evidence of covert Satanism. According to his description of the account it was nothing more than a fraternity-esque ritual, and the only reason one could see it as Satanic was if one were looking for Satanism in it to begin with.

The same could be said about alot of things humans do. Chocolate eggs for easter, spraying champagne over a crowd when somebody wins a major sporting event. Breaking a bottle on a ship when it's first put to sea.
All very strange when you look at it from an outside perspective and the same applies here.

I am going to say it one more time because your either a complete moron or you are deliberately avoiding my point because you dont have an answer.

ITS THE CONCLUSIONS THAT HE COMES TOO NOT THE SOURCES OF INFORMATION

I hope you get the message this time because your "Alex Jones verification" thread is just a list of articles on his site. The first one you listed was
from FOX news.

Get the point now or do i need to draw a picture for you. Remember Conclusions not sources!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Posting articles on a web site from such mainstream media outlets such as FOX news, Washingtonpost and usatoday hardly proves your point that Alex Jones is delivering some sort hidden news which the rest of us are unaware of.

It's the CONCLUSIONS that he draws from these articles not the articles themselves.

1. You just admitted that you don't have a problem with Alex's material. Those links ARE what he covers. You just admitted they are perfectly acceptable mainstream news and are not "tin foil", as alleged. This is the whole reason for this thread in the first place, to prove that the vast majority of his content is perfectly mainstream and not tinfoil. That is the whole point and you just corroborated it.

2. $this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('Jotapay', 'H')is point is that this is the framework for a total control and surveillance grid of the NWO, as quoted by Gordon Brown and Henry Kissinger.

People are furious over Amish being arrested just for selling cheese, raw milk

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', '[')b]"Oh God. My heart is pounding. I can't believe what a Goddamn police state this is."

The seizure on Nolt's farm has slowed Brooklyn's raw milk flow to a trickle, which is great news, at least as far as the FDA is concerned.

An FDA report on illnesses caused by raw milk over the past five years says there have been 18 outbreaks of bacterial illness involving raw milk or raw milk cheeses in 15 states.

http://www.nydailynews.com/ny_local/bro ... rrest.html

I want to quote this again because this story right here represents everything wrong with the NWO and future laws that are to come. That is what Alex stands up for, and why I stand up for him, be he perfect or not. When Amish farmers are f'ing ARRESTED for selling milk and cheese, then everything has gone terribly, terribly WRONG.

<sarcasm>Oh my god, in 5 YEARS they had EIGHTEEN cases of bacterial food poisoning from raw milk in a population of 300 million! Quick, raid the Mennonite farm with the SWAT team, fast!</sarcasm> The FDA is so out of control here, jesus f'ing christ.

These are the things i_play_with_dinosaurs and Mos ignore, much to the detriment of their character and credibility.

You all with your backyard gardens had better get ready for the coming restrictions. You think this Doomer board and its ideas is freedom you'll actually be allowed to have? They make spy satellites to monitor farmers already to make sure they are within corporate/government guidelines, as noted above. There are Lockheed spy blimps that already patrol American cities and give better biometric recognition than satellites, as noted above.

If I was a government hack, I'd have this forum sliced and diced already against network filtering algorithms I've (or someone else) had developed. It's too easy, actually. If I, a senior applications developer and DBA could do it, what makes you think the weight of the US government couldn't do it? Given a predetermined set of definitions, I could match you to any set of profiles and have the results sent to me real time. I could program them to be adaptive and learn new items of interest on the fly based on frequency rates. It's not rocket science.

This is real people. Get used to it and learn. If you've been dumbed down by TV and whatnot, that is your problem. I recommend you learn what is really going on out there by any means necessary. This thread here is a perfect example.
http://peakoil.com/americas-discussion/ ... 53641.html

If I can devise systems that own you, like the 2,200+ employees where I work, what make you think the full weight and force of the federal government doesn't do that? At my job, my apps track every single users' page hit, database transaction and error. I get notified with these statistics real time, especially errors. Sometimes it surprises the users when I call them about an error before they are finished reading the error message web page. Like I said, the .gov is 100,000 times more powerful so their capacity to do this is much greater.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'J')otapay, you have to chill. This is not a conspiracy. From CDC:

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('', 'A') century ago, typhoid fever, tuberculosis and cholera were common foodborne diseases. Improvements in food safety, such as pasteurization of milk, safe canning, and disinfection of water supplies have conquered those diseases.
Screw the Amish dude. I want my health.

The government is corrupt and out of control and wants to control our lives, which limits our freedom. That's a bit different than just labeling it a "conspiracy".

18 cases of bacterial sickness in 5 years in a country of 300 million people is no reason to SWAT team an Amish farm. You are over reacting if that scares you. Get a hold of yourself.

Do you realize if you have back-yard chickens and give an egg away, in some states you can be raided by SWAT, have your possessions seized and be charged with a felony?

This story of the Stowers family can be found on other sites too.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'I') shared a kitchen with two employees of the local health department. I had no idea (few people do) how many 'flus', 'stomach viruses', etc. are caused by food borne illnesses. These are minor illness (that is relative. you still might want to kill yourself as you retch your guts out) that are difficult or impossible to trace or even identify. It became very clear to me that 'potlucks' should be avoided. I have a very circumspect attitude toward food handling now.

I chose to stop worrying about germs a long time ago. I'm healthy as a horse and it will take a super-germ to get me. I'm very clean around my house, but it's not because I'm a germophobe. If food looks ok and smells alright, I'll take a bite and try it. Having worked in several restaurants, I can tell you none of them are perfect. The health department's job is more of an art than a science, as knowing where to draw the line is never 100% clear.

Having traveled all over Europe, the USA, North Africa and completely up and down Central America, I've eaten some interesting things. I've eaten a lot of street food at some dodgy places. I've only gotten sick once, and it was a real doozy. I had dysentery for 9 days; I couldn't even keep water inside me. Will that keep me from eating at street vendors and rustic eateries? No.

Shoot, in North Africa, you use your left hand to wipe and clean your ass (no TP) while squatting over the open-plumbing hole in the ground. You used your right hand to eat with (no forks or spoons, etc.). That is how millions of people live their everyday lives there. I did it. I lived. The food was great.

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('pstarr', 'W')e live with a system of federal food standards and laws (USDA) that are implemented by state and local authorities. In both linked cases it was state, not federal who raided. They should be reigned in.

My point is that food safety is terribly important and complicated and we could easily slip backward 500 years if we lessen what seems to many to be draconian standards.

This is not a conspiracy.

I could not agree more! Just another example of a knee jerk response from alex jones. Could the matter been handled better? Yes Do they have a point about food safety? yes

No its the Boogey Man name NWO. This is off topic but Alex Jones does believe in abiotic oil. Hope you enjoy the read Jotapay!
