LOL not bad. Probably would have really enjoyed it if was put out a little over 15 years ago. I could have dropped a tab and had fun with it all night. Ah the ignorance of youth ! but it was FUN!!

I was going to suggest this as well, having seen both several years ago. I should ask my Indian customers what the video is about. I know that Bhagra(sp?) music is very big among Indian kids going to dances...More and more Indians and Pakistani's in Chicago, I think we're up to 5 Hindu temples now, and a big Islamic cultural center too. I know that Dahlar Mendhi is a Sikh, though.

Weird - with 9 million views on the other vids you'd think he'd be more popular. Maybe most of his fans are devout jews, not using their computers on the sabbath.

Well, sort of, but this singer from India, Daler Mehndi, is quite popular around the world so I thought it would be fun to let people here (and see) what others around the world enjoy!

This song is quite nice to listen to, as are many of his other songs! :)

My favorite Punjabi restaurant has several monitors in the dining area that plays this stuff constantly.

Delhi Dhaba

I also find it refreshingly old-school because the whole restaurant is smoking and they have 2 tables in a corner that are labelled 'no-smoking section'.

Ok, so I followed that link, and then went on to view CDO's "Shine On Me" video.

My life will never be the same. Seriously. I think I'm going to sell all my worldly possessions and follow him around for the rest of my days. It's the best music video since eyesight was invented.
