This thread is for discussing asexuality in general.

I think it can be temporal, ie: shifting from heterosexuality to asexuality through time... with time measured in days, weeks and months (not within a single day).

I have a friend who claims she's asexual. She says it as if it's a situation that's been there all her life, like being heterosexual or being gay. But she has two children. She's divorced.

I don't know what to make of it. I can't come up with any scenarios that aren't very sad, so I have never asked her about the details.
