What if there were no humans?

If humans had never evolved or if God had never created us, depending on your beliefs, what would planet Earth be like today?

Much greater biodiversity. More organisms and more different types of organisms and ecosystems. The ecosystems and their resident organisms would be healthier since they haven't been overexploited, destroyed, or polluted.

About the same as it is now, for the most part.

There would be no life, no ocean no sky and no solar system. God would be alone with other created beings and the devil would never be destroyed cause there would be no proof how evil sin was.

But since we were created, and we fell, then the play has gone on to show how selfish people live, the other beings in the universe now understand, the only thing to do with sin is to destroy it, before it spreads and destroys the universe.

Even the best and most optimistic SF writers admit they foresee, captain kirks wandering the galaxies comitting fornication with beautifyul women all over the galaxy and engaging in wars with borg and species 8472, and Q's running around blaspheming God it would be terrible.

No,. sin is ugly and selfishness rapes and destroys planets, and the play is almost over, everyone is miserable and it is time for the plagues to wipe out sin forever.

You either hang on to sin, and die with sin or give up sin and join the universe in a loving caring green lifestyle without space ships, with travel at the speed of thought, faster than light, planets galore, with beautiful gardens and multitudes of pets and animals.

Your choice, you have a few weeks to decide.

But in a few months, all the sineers will be dead.

Humans = Homo Sapien Sapien

Without us Homo Neanderthalus would rule from Atlantic to Pacific north of say 40 degrees and Homo Erectus would rule the rest of Asia while Homo Ergaster would rule Africa. All of them were hunter/gatherer in both culture and resource exploitation.

Agriculture would not yet have been invented but all three of our co-existant species did quite well as H/G survivors. Given the spread of H. Erectus through Indonesia and the spread of H. Neanderthalus through Siberia it is highly likely that the former would eventually spread to Australia and the latter to the America's. Recent evidence demonstrates that H. Neanderthalus was spreading through Siberia when they died out, that being the case they would have almost certainly have discovered Berningia and made it into North America by the time the Holocene meltwaters flooded the land bridge.

Most paleontologists beleive H. Ergaster evolved into H. Sapiens and many beleive that the refinement to Homo Sapien Sapien only occured with the genetic bottleneck event circa 70,000 years ago. As an originally diverse species genetically speaking H. Sapiens was very much like the other three, and probably not quite as smart as H. Neanderthalus which holds the record for largest cranial capacity of any of us.

If you are right, then there will be no falling stars, no volcanoes and no extinction of man within 5 years.

The test for evolution is almost here.

There is no such thing as god. God is a weakness brought fourth by mans need to feel special. A way to keep us in-line and to keep us afraid for our mortal souls. If we are afraid that we might offend his holiness then we are less likely to rise up or speak out.

You have been conditioned since birth to believe in this fairy tale and no amount of logic will dissuade your from these lies.

To answer your question, it would be a wilderness were certain other carnivores would be at the top of the food chain. The eco-system would be working a lot smoother. Natural boundaries would keep certain predators out of others environment. In one word, it would be harmonious.

This is a moot question though, we are here and we have raped and pillaged the Earth for thousands of years and we will continue to do so until the Earth is a dying desert radioactive waste land.

Yeah, the "strong" just need a special name like "village idiot" to feel special or to mess with other's people's heads to feel special and smart or brag about this that or the other to feel special (all of which may or may not be true given that fact that we are all just people on the internet).

We got plenty of threads about the existence of God, the op is about the theoretical state of the earth without humanity as we know it.

For those of us keeping score at home, what is it three weeks to basic? Maybe four?

1.) God was brought up in this topic, so I responded to that persons delusional thoughts.

2.) I have stated numerous times that I am still waiting to get my call back for meps. I have no idea what is going on. So bugger off.

3.) Belief in a God is pathetic. Next you will tell me about how the freaking tooth fairy visits you.

The subject is pretty obvious, "what if there were no humans...?"

The evolution/creation is dependent upon this main subject.

Code of Conduct 1.1.1

Threads that deal with the existence of God,

Where is God?
The religion thread
Proof there is no God

When a poster goes off topic just to attack those who are "weak" or "pathetic" because they believe in God and want to feel special it seems to me rather relevant if the person making the attack continually acted in such a way as to look for attention (to feel special). It is called hypocrisy and most of us find it rather distasteful.

We'll leave it as an aside whether or not the need to attack others as "weak" and "pathetic" is not itself a sign that one is rather insecure in their own selves to begin with.

I'm kind of wondering what your next "look at me" moment will be or which sock puppet it will come from... and if they really will disappear for ten weeks or not.

Without humans what would the world look like?

Ripe for the picking.

Bees would take our place & fill the world with sweet, sweet royal jelly.

The real question is... what would happen if bears discovered fire?

The problem is, of course, that not only is economics bankrupt, but it has always been nothing more than politics in disguise... economics is a form of brain damage.

A superb example of the canning art. Never seen a 1961 can of sh1t before. What a masterpiece.

Wonder if the Yanks sent a can along with the other artefacts on the vovager spacecraft, as a token of human engineering and design genious?.

Gasmon.
Piero Manzoni was Italian. The Tate Museum paid 40,000 pounds for a can of his sh1t.
