$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('crude_intentions', 'R')eading that site has really put my Mind at ease. Now I understand its not Peak Oil we have to worry about. But the nefarious plots of the New World Order and the Illuminati :roll:


I think we have to worry about both. The conspiracy is real (see threeworldwars.com), but so is Peak Oil. I would imagine that informing the population about Peak Oil would have the opposite effect of depopulation, as people would prepare for it. So if anything, the idea that oil is always going to be readily available is a scam to keep people oblivious to what's really going to happen.

However, if people are uninformed, then they won't bother preparing until it's too late, at which point, the conspirators get what they want, i.e. mass depopulation. So, Peak Oil is sort've like a wildcard.

I still owe you an answer to that question.

I'm trying to go back in time to the conversation I had with a Special Forces agent in Viet Nam. He's the one that made a case for it and I have to remember how he charted the territory.
