Uh huh. No mention of the ongoing delays and cost overruns. 90% of that production is from fields discovered in the 1950s, as is the bulk of the rest of their big boost. These "new" fields like Manifa will present no end of technical challenges like we've seen with Khursaniyah, and then some. And all this additional capacity is predicated on the assumption that their current fields will continue to merrily flow. Reams of anecdotal evidence suggest that, at the very least, Aramco are intent on turning the Saudi desert into a lower-48 style pincushion for some reason. Why might that be?
