Its march 21st...and there are no buds on trees!!

The title speaks for itself....Not one sign of life...call me crazy but isnt that abnormal...the wind and sky patterens also appear much different..WHAT IS HAPPENING!

Just a cold Winter, chill (pun intented). Assuming you live in the Chicago-land
area, I live close to you (Wi).
As far as the climate, well it does seem like it's changing. Hard to quantify --
it may well just be natural variations in the Weather. I'm a weather geek too,
so I pay attention to these thins. Seems that Winters are less severe
than they were 20 years ago (fewer really bad cold snaps, more thaws) and
overall the weather seems to have gotten a more erratic/chaotic.
Is there something specific you're noticing, or just a feeling?

The plants here are budding like crazy. Then again, why shouldn't they? Except for a couple of cold snaps, we didn't have much of a winter to begin with!
Climate's changing? Oh, yeah. And the trend in much of the Northern Hemisphere is toward an EARLIER Spring! But the trends don't speak for the whole world. It really does depend upon WHERE you are and the conditions there. You people up in the North Central U.S. really got blasted! It took a little longer than usual in many places, and now it's taking a little longer to get over winter.
And the Arctic keeps melting, the tundra keeps melting, and all that lovely methane in the land and under sea starts rising up to the atmosphere. It'll be especially fun once they start drilling for methane hydrates in earnest! And the freshwater melt from ice/glaciers pushes down the salt water and shuts down the Gulf Stream. And more "alien" fauna and flora infest land and sea. And fewer and fewer forests/wild plant life areas are around to soak in rain and prevent floods and mudslides and avalanches.
Yeah, lots to worry about with Peak Oil. Lots MORE to worry about with the global warming and climate change that's ALREADY showing up....

Here we went straight from winter to summer. We had a temperature difference of 40°C (72 F) in one week. It is amazing. Two weeks ago I was plowing through deep snow and now I have spend the weekend comfortably sitting outside in a t-shirt having a beer on a terrace.
The weather is just flipping from one extreme to another. In the past years we had multidecade and multicentury records for the worst drought, the highest rainfall, the coldest and the hottest temperatures, the highest snowfall, the worst storm.
It is not really like there is a trend to it. The weather just seems to become more extreme and erratic.
Well at least I'm glad the winter is over.

Well, some other people around the boards are noticing similar things. And yes the climate has been changing incredibly fast, incredibly erraticly. I guess peak oil really isnt our real worry.

Well, this is Finland, so I can't exactly relate to that - when we start seeing buds in march, wherever you live will probably be under water...
But otherwise, the winter has been the warmest since... I don't even remember when we've had another winter this warm. And if today's weather continues, it'll be the shortest winter ever, too. The climate change affects the highest latitudes the most, so it has long been undeniable even here in the south (60N). Winters just don't last as long.

Take a hot bath and that will open your sinuses 100% naturally. Yeah it doesn't last forever but it helps without drugs. You can also squat down knees to chest and grab your toes with opposit hands and pull while breathing. This postition crushes your lower lungs moving stuff upward. Even my 70-year-old mom can do this.
