I had an African violet for three years, that just sat there and took up space, without flowering. I almost threw it in the garbage. As I was in mid pitch, I told it what I was going to do and why and offered it one more chance. Within a month it had exploded into bloom. Fifty flowers. They respond to loving kindness, but if that doesn't work...what can I say?

Tomato plants can be uppity. I'd "invite them to cooperate" by threatening them with a bottle of Roundup. If that doesn't work, yell at them. :)

Oh yeah, it's been studied. Plants have been hooked up to electrolytic lie-detector machines and had other organisms killed nearby. The machines spike wildly. I haven't heard of any peer reviews of these studies so it may be a crock. But I don't think so.

What part of a dandelion should I look at if I wish to view its brain?

$this->bbcode_second_pass_quote('eastbay', 'W')hat part of a dandelion should I look at if I wish to view its brain?

Apparently it's in the aggregate of cells, eb. Dispersed. I don't know. I do know that multicellular life came after vast eons of single celled life.

I saw it when you posted the video earlier. She gave a good presentation.
Now, to tie in with the op, does the video have anything to do with the number 23?

I really wish you would stop pointing that big gun at me. Plus, people are scared to go near you when you're waving that darn thing around.

I've always thought so, too. I did some reading about those studies PMS mentions and studies of the effects of prayer on plants, as well, in the past. I think the consciousness of water stuff is interesting too. You could try beaming love to the water for your plants and see what happens.

Not a chance. Bas gave that to me and I think it's cool. Why don't you get rid of that Commie avatar? Castro caused more hurt than Bruce Willis ever did.

(Wait until PMS finds out btu is using his login.) Commie sympathizers don't kill people. People kill people. Usually with guns. Like the one you keep flashing around at everyone.

Commie sympathizers do kill people, millions of them implicitly. You endorse a murderous ideology. Doesn't surprise me that you like to play footsies with Holocaust Denial either.

Strange, I was NOT expecting a remark like that from you. I thought you had moved on past such prior century historical 'angel counting' and on to the larger issue facing us all: The Common Disaster. Which is NOW. And tomorrow. The topic bringing us together. Chill brother. :)

PMS I was joking. I really thought my 'waving gun' references were funny. You know, to bring a lighter attitude around here. Everyone seems so dag nabbed 'tight' around here lately for some reason, and I was trying to offer a touch of humor, as I sometimes do.
But I'll direct my humor, or my attempts at humor, elsewhere. Not everyone appreciates it, I do realize. I'll try to remember to 'aim' it elsewhere from now on. But my memory is fading, so I may need periodic reminding. :)

Your intent to hurt was so obvious that I don't have a clue how you could hide it from yourself. It's OK, though, I do drink too much. Having said that, I don't recall a single occasion where you said anything remotely funny. You picked the fight, eb, and I really wish you hadn't.
