Something like 18 hours of daylight here in Anchorage now. We're going to celebrate with a picnic; solstice makes me feel very druid. A little sun worship may help our sun come out a little more here this summer. My garden starts are still looking pretty pathetic.
Generally from here on out, my biorhythms pick up speed and get pretty frantic. They peak in September, just like the other critters, I guess. There's a strong sense that one needs to get while the gettin's good, with the daylight shortening a little bit each day. I don't know if you experience that, PA? Hawkcreek, are you on and off at Prudhoe?
Because it's all about the oil.
